The bottleneck for most marketers isn't a lack of information or ideas. It's fear.
I just published a rant/monologue video where I got pretty vulnerable about this.
You're stuck at a certain level. You know the next step. But there's fear around taking it.
For me, the big recent one was paid ads. I was the king of "hand-to-hand combat" - cold DMs, cold calls, networking. But scaling? That required spending money on something that might not work. So I stayed stuck.
Here's the framework I use to get out of my own way:
When I was debating whether to join a $10K coaching program, the fear was wasting the money. But then I asked myself: what if I'm so stubborn that I burn an entire year of my 20s on something someone could have solved for me in five minutes?
That terrified me more.
The pain of inaction is almost always greater the pain of a mistake.
It's just distributed over time, so it looks smaller in the present.
Making no decision should scare you a lot more than making the wrong one.
Action produces information.
Just start.
