April Fools Went Absolutely Off the Rails This Year 😵💫
April 1st hits, and brands are like:
“how can we prank everyone… but with a budget and a press release?”
And this year? They went fully unhinged.
Dyson “launched” a pet styling range.
My dog was not contacted to model. We’ll remember that.
Also, imagine a doodle getting an Airwrap. Peak content. Their loss.
Matcha mayo appeared.
I got sick thinking about it.
Nothing makes sense anymore.
Pringles x Skittles. Fake, horrifying, now stuck in my brain forever.
Candy corn chips, but make it salty and fruity.
I feel seen and violated at the same time.
Doritos body wash arrived.
Yes. Smelling like nacho cheese is apparently the missing step in personal hygiene.
Lowkey we all know someone who would use it un-ironically…
Garrett Popcorn dropped a “mini bag” so tiny that it’s basically a cruel prank in snack form. One kernel. One dollar.

Then the curveball:
Olipop x Goodwipes.
We all assumed a joke.
We laughed.
We moved on.
Except… they actually made it real.
I’m still processing. And if I see those wipes in a house, I’m calling the cops.
April Fools now isn’t about tricking anyone.
It’s about full chaos commitment.
No landing page.
No press release.
No 5-slide reveal deck.
Just post.
Watch the internet explode.
Laugh.
Scroll.
Repeat.
Dog hair dryers.
Matcha mayo.
Candy chips.
Nacho cheese hygiene.
One popcorn kernel costs more than my lunch.
And it’s beautiful.
Ridiculous.
Unnecessary.
Viral.
Don’t overthink it.
If it’s dumb, specific, and shareable… post it.
Internet attention is a fleeting snack.
Lesson for corporate humans: the brands that get shared aren’t the ones who over-plan. They’re the ones who take a tiny risk, commit fully, and make someone laugh.
April Fools is a gift.
Absorb it.
Learn from it.
Then maybe… take a bite of that Skittles-Pringle mashup if you’re feeling brave.

🥶 Cold Outreach Not Working Anymore? Read This…
Sometimes sales isn’t a numbers game.
If your cold emails are immediately trying to convert complete strangers into customers, no amount of “warmed up inboxes” or persistent sales reps will solve your lead-generation problem.
That’s why Orbit Marketing flips "traditional client acquisition” on its head.
Reposition yourself from “annoying cold emailer” to “expert thought leader” by partnering with Orbit to launch your own niche newsletter.
Demonstrate your expertise, provide real value to your prospects, and build a relationship before ever asking for a sale.
Zig when everyone is zagging.
